Olimpia Choptij is Supply Chain Director for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Space Solutions business of Collins Aerospace, a role she has held since October 2018. In this position, Olimpia is responsible for driving supply chain synergies across eight sites. Her focus is on transformation enhancements, process improvements, talent development and improving supplier performance through collaborative efforts with the delivery assurance team.
Previously, Olimpia was Director of Cost Excellence for the Air Management Systems business of Collins Aerospace, leading a team that developed a robust cost reduction process to improve business results. Prior to that she was on the Delivery Assurance Management team, where her focus was to improve supplier and customer on-time delivery, and she led a number of diverse commodity procurement teams including electronics and supplier-designed hardware. Olimpia also held the position of Industrial Manager for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and launch customer to secure availability of aftermarket hardware to enable First Flight of this customer platform.
Olimpia joined United Technologies Corporation in 1985 and has been a leader in both supplier and customer-facing roles, and is a mentor for young professionals in the company.
