Gina Rebelo Bento is a Commercial Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service in Canada, an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce. She is responsible to help further Canada-US trade relations and trade promotion in the aerospace and finance/FDI sectors. Prior to joining the U.S. Commercial Service, she worked for the Canadian government, New York State’s Economic Development Agency, the Canadian International Council and consulted for the public and private sector in international affairs and business development. Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Political Science from McGill University, and undertook International Management studies at Ottawa University. She is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, with basic knowledge of Italian, and beginner skills in Hebrew and Arabic.
