Pierce J. Lehr

Pierce J. Lehr leads procurement and supply chain activities for Boeing Defense Space & Security’s (BDS) Missile and Weapons Division.  Specific programs include: Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD), Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), ICBM sustainment programs, National Team, Boeing Weapons Programs (JDAM, SDB, MOP, Harpoon), and additional proprietary efforts.  Additionally, Pierce has responsibility for all BDS contracting activity with Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and Raytheon. Pierce previously led the Supplier Management organizations for the BDS Development Space Systems division, including Space Launch System (SLS) and the Commercial Crew Program (Starliner) programs, Boeing Space Exploration Division (SLS, Starliner, and International Space Station), BDS Mission Systems supplier/commodity teams (Aerojet Rocketdyne, Orbital/ATK, General Dynamics, Harris, Thales, Com Dev., and Tesat), Boeing Training Systems & Government Services Division and the Phantom Works Ventures Division.

 

Prior to Boeing Pierce worked in a variety of different legal capacities at the U.S. EPA Regional Counsel Office, Illinois Attorney General, and in private practice.  Pierce holds a B.A. from Baylor University, J.D. from Valparaiso University, L.L.M. from the University of Alabama, M.B.A from Saint Louis University, and a M.S.C.M. from Penn State University.  Lastly, in addition to his work at the Boeing Company he was an Adjunct Professor at Webster University in the George Walker School of Business.
